Stewardship

DVF Impact Management was founded by two visionary partners who bring a powerful combination of expertise in regenerative development and impact management. Their shared commitment to rural transformation drives DVF's innovative approach, ensuring that capital is deployed for sustainable and values-driven outcomes.

Louise Lai

Regenerative Development Architect

Louise Lai is an entrepreneur, ecosystem builder, and impact innovator whose career spans more than 25 years across business strategy, design, and social development in Asia.

Her work has consistently focused on aligning culture, creativity, and commerce to create sustainable economic opportunities for communities.

Louise began her career in the hospitality and tourism sector, developing a deep understanding of guest experience, cultural appreciation, and service innovation. These early experiences later shaped her work in design-led strategy, including the co-founding of Thread Design, where she helped international brands enter China and supported emerging Chinese companies expanding into global markets.

Her commitment to social impact deepened during her tenure with the World Kindness Movement, where she helped lead global programmes and supported NGOs in developing sustainable operating models and fundraising strategies.

Louise later founded Design Venture Forward, which evolved into DVF Impact Management, with the vision of building enterprises that integrate financial sustainability with social and environmental benefit.

Today she leads DVF in developing regenerative economic models that connect communities, enterprises, and investors across regions.
